Do most places in Afghanistan have internet that troops can readily use while deployed now?

YEs most bases do (major ones) unless you at a Combat outpost it might be there. none in the CHU. well depend on your mos infantry go out on patrol alot i did when i was infantry. I still had time for pc. but there is a 30 minute usage and a list to sign and waiting times. you can buy virtualy whatever you want (except guns) you can buy what you want. The time line will be off most likely. but you will get it. I brought a PS3 with me and bought a TV there (didnt use too much but i did sometimes) they got mcdonals, burger king etc...in Kuwait
