What to do for a snapped delphinium?

We had a very windy storm last night and it snapped my delphinium about 3 inches off the ground. I would hate to see it die because it is sooooo gorgeous. It isn't snapped all the way off, it just looks pretty battered :( Is there anything I can do to save it? I have it staked right now but I am not sure if that will do the trick?
